Course Description

This Intensive Microbiology Training programme is designed to learners into professional roles within diagnostic microbiology and molecular laboratories.

This programme is specifically tailored for those without prior diagnostic microbiology experience who wish to pursue careers as Associate Practitioners, Trainee Biomedical Scientists, or Biomedical Scientists. Learners will engage in advanced laboratory workflows, increased hands-on bench work, and competency-based learning within a condensed timeframe.

Training is delivered by highly experienced, state-registered Biomedical Scientists who provide close supervision, mentorship, and structured assessment at one of our specialist training centres.

Learners will complete a structured competency portfolio by the end of the course, evidencing their skills, professional development, and readiness for employment or progression within a specialist laboratory environment at one of our approved training centres.
