Mr Akanbi is a qualify Cytohistopathology scientist with special interest in histopathology diagnostics, teaching and research. He has acquired scientific experience in various NHS laboratories across the U.K to include Cambridge University Hospital in Addenbrookes, Leeds NHS Teaching Hospital, Worcestershire acute and many more. He also has an excellent international reputation of working in various HSE hospitals in the Republic of Ireland, Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam, and Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria.
He is passionate about training on histological techniques, and he has been leading a training team that has helped hundreds of science graduates into over 100 NHS hospitals across the U.K.
